Shops at 6th and “G”
ezra marcos
or this issue’s Boutique, we spent an afternoon at the
Frecently developed and carefully curated Shops at
6th and “G” Street in Grants Pass.
Highlights include the DeWayne Lumpkin Design
Studio, featuring an art gallery: untitled 2.0. The show
on display when we visited was titled “Isles of Amnesia”
by Paul James Cunningham. Flanking either side of the
gallery are two clothing boutiques. Rita’s: Live Love
Shop features a great collection of women’s cloth-
ing, accessories and gift items. And on the other side
is Vortex Clothiers (formerly known as The Shaft), an
eclectic mix of vintage clothes and accessories inter-
mixed with a few oddities for collecting. This is the per-
fect place for a Halloween costume, steam punk looks,
a burning man outfit, or for anyone who knows how to
pull off an exceptional look you won’t find anywhere
else. They also take consignments.
To add to your hip look, walk around the corner into
the G Street Barber Co. for a straight razor shave or the
perfect fade. This classic barbershop boasts a fantastic
atmosphere. Vortex Clothiers
