10 WAYS T0 REDUCE YOUR SUGAR INTAKE
          • Swap sodas, energy drinks, juices and sweetened
teas for water or unsweetened seltzer.

          • Drink your coffee black or use Stevia for a zero-calorie,
            natural sweetener. CALLING

          • Swap your morning cereal for a bowl of rolled oats topped the Mountain Meadows
with nut butter and fresh berries, or an omelet made with
            fresh greens. Community Home.

          • Avoid alcoholic beverages that are sweetened
with soda, juice, honey, sugar or agave. NOW IS THE PERFECT TIME to make
a move to Mountain Meadows 55+
          • Shop the perimeter of the grocery store, focusing on
fresh, whole ingredients. Community—owned, operated and governed
                                                                                    by the residents themselves.
          • Start the MOOD or CRAVING supplement at Peak Medical
Clinic, to boost serotonin and norepinephrine and lower
            cravings.

          • Consider an eating plan that is lower glycemic
and watch your cravings dissipate immediately!

          • Have your hormones and thyroid tested at Peak Medical Clinic.
Low female and male hormones and low thyroid can lead to
high sugar intake and excessive cravings.

          • Pairing carbs with extra lean protein or fat is another great
way to keep your blood sugar and energy stable. An apple,
along with a small handful of almonds, is an excellent snack
            for prolonged, consistent energy levels.

          • Drink a full glass of water several times per day, and try to go
no more than 4-5 hours (during the day) without eating if you
are sugar sensitive. Remember, 72 hours off sugar is what it
takes to get a handle on the sugar addiction!
