This is the who, what, where, integrity of golf club choices.
There are so many great golf clubs available today, how do I know which ones are best for me? In my twenty years of golf experience, I’ve learned
that my best is accomplished when I am supported and surrounded by a competent team in whom I have confidence. So, here’s the team that will
help answer this question and improve your game overall:
Who should help me with my clubs?
You, golf swing coach, club-fitter and the clubs (the clubs pick the player.)
What should be in my bag?
To play regulation golf, you get the choice of 14 clubs.
Here is where you want to be like the manager of a baseball team.
Call in your other coaches and pick your clubs by the stats. Remember, this is similar to baseball not football—your players/clubs need to be used
for offense and defense, so surround yourself with the best. Your swing coach will be able to give you an honest assessment for your skill level and
strengths to best be matched. Your club fitter can quickly show you why one club is better for your team/bag by performance for the best set make
up. i.e. 4-iron vs 4-hybrid or 3-wood vs 4-wood, etc.
Where do I have this done?
A retail store that performs club fitting, a scheduled club fitting at your course, or a performance lab that specializes in club fitting and building golf clubs.
