The evening culminates in a lively final table and great prizes for the
winners. Imagine the tension, the electricity in the air, as one player
raises the stakes, countered by another—a lively and entertaining scene
lasting well into the night, a night to remember. An interesting side
note, Adam Pliska, president of World Poker Tour is the proud mentor
to one of the Foundation’s Earl Woods Scholars.
Your golfing experience will take place on a private world-class
course, one that may be on your bucket list. Friday’s golf exhibition
and outing give you and your team the chance to sharpen your skills,
preparing you to play your best at the Saturday tournament. Shad-
ow Creek is a legendary course sculpted from the Nevada desert by
architect Tom Fazio. Not only is the course superior, but the views are
breathtaking, complete with three lakes broken by three waterfalls, and
set against a rugged mountain backdrop. According to the owners, “the
18th hole is a combination of every golf shot, every design treatment
and every setting created on the rest of the holes at Shadow Creek.”
This will definitely be a golf experience to remember.
Saturday evening’s entertainment is a time to kick back, or rather
kick up your heels, and for ladies to kick off their heels. It’s a time to
enjoy a favorite beverage, as well as food prepared by renowned chefs.
Artists like Darius Rucker, Ed Sheeran, John Mayer and Keith Urban
have performed in previous years. (This year’s entertainment is yet to
