Overview

VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity) – Is a term used to
describe the environment of constant, unpredictable change that many businesses
are working in. This atmosphere requires a different style of leadership to the
traditional and a fresh outlook to engaging and empowering others is needed. It also
requires us to consider how we make decisions, solve problems, plan, adapt and
manage risks.

Agile Management - As the name suggests, this is an approach where project
requirements and solutions evolve through the collaboration of self-organising,
cross-functional teams, and the customers or end users. Agile methodologies were
introduced to develop complex products, especially in a VUCA environment.

Scrum – Provides a framework for helping teams work together effectively, address
complex issues and work towards well-defined goals. It’s based on the three pillars
of transparency, inspection, and adaptation and the idea that knowledge comes from
experience and making decisions based on what is known. Put simply, Scrum is an
effective way to manage projects and develop solutions.
