no God, they are corrupt, there deeds are vile; there is no
one who does good'.

It can be seen that the Bible teaches a great deal about sin
and its consequences. It does so that man may understand
the loathing God has for it. It also leads man to realise that
he needs to be rescued and to have its power removed from
his daily life. Everyone has come under this power, which
has caused them, to some degree or another, to NOT keep to
God's laws. This brings with it a curse. Deuteronomy 27
v26 'Cursed is the man who does not uphold the words
of the law (God's law), by carrying them out'.
So mankind is cursed for ever because of the sin that has
come into his life. He is cursed by GOD Himself even though
the origin of the sin is from God's enemy, satan or the devil.

So it is GOD himself who has provided the remedy to
undo and overcome the effects of sin.

 SALVATION

Sin having made men guilty in God's sight, brings with it
cursing and punishment in this life and in the one to come.

How can a man or woman avoid these consequences? The
sin in a person's life is inherited to begin with, so the
consequences of punishment cannot be avoided, because
guilt is already established.

When a person is taken to court and is found guilty, the
sentence may be reduced by a plea of mitigation or because
of general good conduct. But because guilt is proven there is
still a sentence.

In the same way, all of a man's good conduct will not stop the
