This order was upset by man discovering the knowledge of
good and evil, Genesis 3.

So a remedy had to be put in place by God.
The first man and woman who gained the knowledge of good
and evil have passed it on to all of mankind that has followed,
both men and women.

The consequence of this is that human nature is dominated
by bodily appetites and the soul, including mind and
emotions, serves those appetites. It will cause a man or
woman to be self indulgent, doing what he or she wants at
any given time. It will cause him or her to be selfish, cruel
and self serving.

The third part of his constitution, the spirit cannot live in this
environment and is in effect dead.

 SIN

The collective word for mankind becoming involved in the
knowledge of good and evil, is SIN.

SIN means to fall short of God's standard. Having the
knowledge of evil causes mankind to practice it in all its
various forms. Its consequences are extreme, it has brought
ruin on him.

Origionally man was never intended to die, he would live for
ever but SIN changed that.

Romans 5 v12 'Therefore as sin entered the world
through one man, and death through sin, and in this way
death came to all mankind, because all have sinned...'
