12.
There is a feeling of trepidation, but yet there is no need to worry or even to be
concerned. All is always in God’s hands, no matter who might claim
otherwise. Even those doing ‘bad deeds’ are doing so of their own free will
which is God given, but the deed is also subject to the Law of Cause and
Effect, which is also God given. The Law of Cause and Effect is also the ‘tool’
which is used for all creation. It is constantly being used by everything that is
of creation and for showing humankind the consequences of its action, both
good and bad. This is why we can assert that “All is always in God’s hands”.
God given free will enables the expansion of spiritual awareness, the Law of
Cause and Effect adjudicates and informs humankind of the appropriateness of
its actions. Some call this law Karma, but see Karma as the punishment or
rewarding of ‘good’ or ‘bad’ deeds, and for these rewards or punishments to
be presented sometime in the future. This latter concept is not as it is. There is
a law that says ‘every action has and equal and opposite reaction’. When this
law is correctly utilised and understood it is possible to have a rewarding or
punishing experience in the ‘now’. The weakness of humankind, whilst
acknowledging these laws, is to expect to avoid them and all consequences,
and to feel they are above the laws. As God is the creator and applier of these
laws, which incidentally require no supervision, they are perfect and complete.
Not even God is free of the application of them. After all they are the building
blocks of continuous creation and of spiritual growth. Be aware of what you
choose to do and be prepared for the consequence. Isn’t it strange that our last
comment should give a feeling of fear and apprehension? To one spiritually
aware, however, it will give a feeling of excitement. Remember how a child
feels when it is about to see the outcome of it’s own creation, excitement.
What then has happened to that child that it looses that excitement and
replaces it with apprehension? It has become socialised. Remember how as a
child it has no fear, and then it becomes afraid. Where did that fear come
from? There are of course exceptions to every generalisation. One can have a
