a very high price to pay to feel proud, and to have your life achievements
marked by the wealth and material goods you have earned the money to pay
for. Why then do so many feel valueless? There are those who have nothing,
except the skills required to live an affordable life, those who have the courage
to shun the temptation of materialism, and perhaps to flaunt the man made
laws that are only designed to keep him in slavery to those bullies who call
themselves masters. Materialism can never satisfy the hunger for Spirituality,
neither can religion. Slavery is not the answer either. Freedom of thought, and
freedom of life is the only way to Paradise. There is another way, other than
that offered by your society. It is unfortunate that your worth is measured in
money earning potential. It is a pity that your earning potential is determined
by how well you are prepared to accept the life your society offers you. You
will have been reared with stories of the temptation of the ‘devil’, for ‘devil’
now use the term ‘social system’, it is the social system that now imposes so
far into your life that you are either in it or outside it, that system has made it
virtually impossible to survive outside it. Our solution is simple. Remain
within the system but use it instead of it using you. Develop your integrity
based on spiritual values. Listen for the Spirit of the oppressor, and not listen
to the ego. Be aware of the word ‘have’ in any conversation, especially if it is
implying that you are the one who is being directed by it. It is always your
choice, or at least should be. You, after all, are the one who will bear the
consequence of obeying the demand. Are you prepared to accept that?
