Many feel that life is harsh for them. To those we would say that it is the life
they chose and if they feel it harsh then they need to ask themselves why they
chose it to be that way. We cannot stress enough that whatever way you are
experiencing your life it is as a consequence of, (A), choices your Spirit made
prior to your birth, and/or, (B), choices made on your behalf by those you
chose to take responsibility for you until you could take care of yourself,
and/or, (C), choices you have made since you reached the age of reason and
the age of responsibility. Whichever way it is, it is your choice and
responsibility. Naturally many compare their life to the life of others, a foolish
trait, since the life of another may be very different but none the less equally of

in any position that will provide this. Should its choice fail, the ego will never
accept responsibility, if it succeeds then it will grow and expand but it’s all an
illusion that the ego is suffering. But then this is the human life, a life devoid
of spiritual awareness. The ego can even convince itself that it is humble.
Spirit recognises ‘enough’ whereas the ego only recognises ‘more’. Most
things in the human world take precedence when they appeal to the ego. Many
people avoid the truth and settle for the comfort of belief and ignorance. They
find truth to heavy a burden, such is their ego illusion. It’s easier to live the
consequence of a lie than a consequence of the truth, this is what we see the
