The Personal Power of Spirituality.
The word “spirituality” is often misunderstood.
Many believe spirituality is associated with religion or
religious beliefs, which is partly true. Religion is about
being spiritual, however being spiritual is not necessarily
about being religious.
Spirituality relates to the spirit as opposed to
matter. The spirit is the vital essence of a person. So it
can be said, that spirit and spirituality are concerning
the personal and essential reasons for being incarnate,
(for a spirit to be in a body.)
Mankind, even before the oldest of today’s
religions began, could be considered spiritual because of
their understanding and acceptance of God (The Great
Spirit) in their lives. This is evidenced by the many
discovered pre-historic depiction’s of spirits and a divine
force. Perhaps spirituality is the degree of awareness of
