awareness is to be spiritual, no matter to what degree.

The essential awareness of spirit does not

necessitate belonging to a particular faith, such as

Christian, Muslim, Hindu, or Jew. Every

prophet/founder of a religion, in their basic philosophy,

agreed that re-unification with the Spirit was the goal

for mankind to attain. They all taught God

consciousness. However, in each case these teachers

found themselves raised into the position of God by their

followers. For example, Jesus who proclaimed he was the
“son of man” was re-labelled - after his death - “the Son

of God”, and was thus deified. In short, organised
religion only provides the opportunity of consciousness

of it’s deified founder. Therefore mankind’s salvation is

dependant upon the personality a particular religion sees

as God. The sight of God is lost in the shadow of the

prophet.

Organised religion preaches the necessity of a

belief in faith. In fact, spirituality is about knowing and
