we would see masculine or feminine energies in any physical
sense either. We are talking about energy, and specifically
Divine Energy. This energy is barely tangible to the now
coarser sensitivity of the human but seems quite tangible to
most other animals and indeed plants. The landmass
contained these four elements in harmony and perhaps this is
why we call it paradise. When the land mass started to break
up the elements divided and separated, and eventually became
as we see it today.
Many years ago I was introduced to the philosophy of the
indigenous people of the land known as America to the white
people, but to the native people, it is known as Turtle Island.
They call themselves "People of the Earth". Taking Earth in
this title into a Spiritual context and seeing it a part of Divine
energy it takes on a very different significance and poses
questions about the other three elements and what indigenous
races represent them, and what is their spiritual significance.
Meditating on this question I was given to understand that the
other elements are represented by the indigenous Spirituality
of Ireland, India and Australia. The Irish are subject to and
representative of the element AIR, The Indian to the element
Water, and the Aboriginal to the element FIRE. If one is to
theoretically apply this to these races, to their creation
stories, to their culture we can see that there are persuasive
signals that this is so.
The Irish creation story is that we came from "the AIR and the
High Air". Many see this suggesting that we came from the
stars or some constellation, however, I see this as suggesting
that we came from 'higher' still, from God. The Native
