serves no purpose.” Then I asked, “why did you not tell us that
in the beginning?” And he replied, “You would not have kept
in contact with me and I would not be able to impart the great
knowledge I wish to share with you.” I responded, “all right I
understand”, and Webb responded, “God bless you”.
I had asked him earlier of his earth life, and now I asked him,
“How much of your earth life story that you told me was true?”
He replied, “The essential facts are true, but deliberate
alterations were made to mislead you in your trivial
escapade”, referring to searching for his grave. I then said to
him, “Please tell us what you want us to know.”
Webb began, “I would like you to understand the reasons for
your period on earth. We Spirits have the ability to know what
has been, what is, and what is to come. You must not concern
yourself with past or future but strive for perfection in this
period in your spiritual development. This you can do by love
and goodwill to all creatures, animal and man. All living has
a purpose, maybe not to you but perhaps to some other living
thing. By picking a flower you may deny the honeybee its
pollen and thereby alter the natural sequence of the bee’s
existence, just so that you could watch the flower loose its
lustre and fade and die. What pleasure is there in this
observation? I cannot understand why human beings are so
determined to destroy nature in doing these destructive
pastimes. Mankind will never totally nature destroy before
destroying itself. Nature will not permit mankind to destroy
itself and will thus protect itself. History has illustrated to you
how, when mankind gains strength at to fast a pace plague or
some other natural force takes control and regains the equal
