Spirit – Releasing the Light Within

“The two lessons I refer to are to know God and to see God on
Earth. You must learn to know God, to believe in his
existence and to feel and do as he expects of you; to know
right from wrong and only do right. This might appear to
enable you to experience a narrow band of learning but why
would you need to experience evil? Surely it is sufficient to be
aware of its existence and resist its influence. God will always
acknowledge your call for assistance in your fight against
evil as also I will protect you as best I can. The main strength
you have is your own understanding of right and wrong and
your own desire to overcome evil and to resist temptation. We
in Spirit can only provide assistance if you request protection
and are prepared to do your best to defeat evil on your own.
The next part of the lesson you have to learn is in relation to
knowing God. The first part relates to the basic requirements
that God has set so He may reveal himself. It is difficult to
fully appreciate a beautiful garden through a dirty window.
As our plane is similar to yours, in that it has sea, trees,
rivers, hills and everything so nice. It does not have the dirt,
dust, and smoke that you have to spoil our enjoyment. So it is
easier for us to know God in all His glory as He is not hidden
from view by the dirt and evil that exists on your Earth. The
Spirit can perfect itself with knowledge, series of ordinary
lessons in love, humility and unselfishness, and a desire to be
one with God. We will one day be fit to see our periods on
Earth are to help us learn these lessons. Here in Spirit we
