God in religion is well documented by the
philosophy of the religion. In an attempt to find a closer

relationship with God we allow others the power and authority
to act as mediators for us. Many have proclaimed the power of
God and in turn we have made them God. We need a God that

is accessible to us, as the leader of a country needs a certain
public image and to be reachable by the people of that country.

Every age has its "God Messenger", the last accepted being
Jesus. We can see nowadays that Jesus has become God in
many peoples eyes. This God still lacks universal acceptance.

Where is the universal God?
The universal God is in the heart of every

thing. Some might not subscribe to there even being a God.
Some live in disbelief of the misdemeanours of some revered
public figure, but then they find that their trust was naive. It

could also be said that not to believe in God is naive. God
continuously reveals Himself to us provided we are prepared to
look. It is as valid to believe there is a God as it is to believe

there is not a God. By not believing we deny ourselves the
opportunity to look and find there is or there isn't a God. By
believing there is a God allows us to look and see or not see

Him as the case may be. By looking and not seeing still does
not prove there is no God but the opportunity still exists.
