One must also be aware that to dwell too long in
meditation is not necessarily good for the body either, for the
same principle applies in that the body is exhausted through the
draining of the vital energy. This draining might give the
participant in the meditation a certain euphoria, but then so can
blood letting and that is not necessarily always good for one. Let
us see then the purpose of meditation and as to its validity in the
search for the inner or the outer self. This elusive self dwells in the
body of humankind whilst it is in an earth incarnation. There is no
validity in searching for it in the Spirit realms, therefore you must
seek it within. The purpose of accessing these realms is only valid
in that you expand your own consciousness and can therefore
have a greater awareness of that which you seek. In meditation
you often excitedly seek to explore the outer reaches, the far
horizons of the Spirit world. This is not a valid pursuit if it is your
self that you seek. If you seek your self, look to your self. The
meditation you take that takes you into the cavern is one such
valid journey. The journey to meet with your guardian is also
valid, let this be your chaperon. The meditation where you wash is
valid in that you must cleanse yourself of the negativity that you
have taken into yourself during your stay on that earth. The
structure of the meditations you have experienced have been to
clean and heal, to give you a glimpse into this reality so that you
may feel more prepared to take the journey into your own
spirituality.
