Mid-summer.

This day marks the greatest manifestation of the sun, in the
solar calendar, in your part of the physical world. It is worth noting
that though you perceive that the sun is in your quarter then it is
therefore absent from other quarters. The sun is always somewhere
not far away.

God is like the sun – always somewhere. Think how it
would be if you thought that the sun would never reappear after
the night has passed. Yet it will be always there for you so you do
not even think about it. Think how warming the winter thoughts
are, that summer is on its way. Think of to day, the mid point of
summer and how winter approaches from now. You may ask why
we require you to think so many things. We ask that you realise
that God is but a thought away, and if you to realise this, you will
feel the consolation of knowing that indeed God has felt your
thought, and He will respond in the most appropriate fashion for
you. In the darkest hours of night you know that sunrise is not far
away. In the darkest of life’s trials God is not far away. To know
that the sun is coming gives a sense of hope and warmth. To know
that God is coming gives a hope that exceeds everything you ever
thought possible. God’s power in your life is only limited by how
you think. Do not limit God.

You might find it strange to think that you can limit God’s
power. God made the law. God gave you free will. If it is your will
that God occupies so little of your life then God cannot impose
Himself on your living. Therefore He is “powerless” in your life.
