that relates to this level and the rest of the experience is passed on to
the next level of consciousness, where that level extracts its benefits
and so on. This all occurs simultaneously. If this is the case then it is
seen that we do not understand the efficacy of that experience to one
who's consciousness is not conforming with what is considered the
norm. We only see them gaining no experience at our level but maybe
they too are getting benefit at a level we cannot understand. In Ireland
people suffering from mental abnormalities were known as "people
with God". From our understanding of the Chakra System and the
relationship of the Crown Chakra to the higher consciousness, the
connection with God, we could expect that these people would be
more prone to having a closer relationship with God and to have
encounters with the beings that exist at those levels. Their encounters

with experience would also be more profoundly spiritual.
When dealing with a situation that has been diagnosed as
being classifiable as a mental illness there is no reason why Spiritual
Healing should not be effective. As a Spiritual Healer you should
remain detached from the apparent situation that has been labelled by
others, rely on the guidance of Spirit and offer only love. Invariably
you will find that that love will be well received.
There are other areas of mental illness that can be attributed to
possession of various degrees, (you must be mad to smoke).
Obsession also has to be considered. These are very specialised areas
and perhaps beyond the role of a Spiritual Healer. The Spiritual
Healer in this instance can play a supportive role to another who has
special experience in this area. It is not my purpose in this book to
enter further into this side of healing and therefore I will just leave it,
leaving with you the warning to have extreme caution when and if you
do encounter experience of this nature.
