Diagnosis.
It is not the duty of the Spiritual Healer to enter into the area
of diagnosis. Diagnosis has no part in the process of healing as there is
no necessity for the Spiritual Healer to know why there is a particular
illness or the nature of that illness. There are times when Spirit may
give an indication of some event in the patients past that does in fact
need to be considered by the patient so as they may in someway
recognise the root cause of their problem. When they relate to the
event then perhaps when next they visit their doctor they can tell him
of this memory and provide him with more information on which to
review his original diagnosis. Remember that Spiritual Healing, no
matter how you may view it, must be seen to be complimentary to
conventional medicine.
We have discussed earlier the validity of conventional
medicine in present day physical welfare. There is no doubt that the
combination of the two disciplines could help provide a greater
service for mankind. It is generally accepted that the greatest medical
discoveries began with an inspired guess or by some freak accident.
Where the source of the inspiration was or how much of a freak it was
more often then not indicates the action of some external agency.
Could this not be Spirit.
At this time there is a vital need for both, medical science and
Spirit, though essentially in the end there is only Spirit. You will read
elsewhere the Code of Conduct for Spiritual Healers set up by the
National Federation of Spiritual Healers and this provides a good
guideline for all Spiritual Healers. You will see in the Code of
