In this section I have tried to make the healing act as simple a
procedure as possible. Much has been done to turn the simplicity of
Spiritual Healing into a complicated ritual in extreme cases involving
incantation, prayer and movement. If Absent Healing can work in its
simplicity, and work well then what need is there for all this other
palaver.
To help understand the procedure for Spiritual Healing I have
brought into focus some of the physical aspects of healing that help if
they are understood. Very often the patient will pose certain questions
relating to parts of their anatomy, remember it is not for the Spiritual
Healer to get involved in this area, the physical area, but it is handy to
have some idea of the nature of the patients enquiry. Often the patient
has tried other therapies and therefore it is better to understand, even
fundamentally, the basis of these therapies. It is worth your while
reading other books on these therapies so that at least you have some
insight into the particular therapy's philosophy and perhaps also gain
an insight into the complications that may exist for your patient at the
present time, and be able therefore to present Spiritual Healing in a
way that can be trusted by the recipient.
To stand behind a stranger waiting to wave your hands around
their body, and at the same time trust that your Spirit Friends will use
you as a channel, appears at first to be a rather ridiculous procedure.
