taught the language we use, the language of symbols, they can
then follow the guidance of the world that surrounds them. In
this way they can learn to see the ‘good’ from the ‘bad’ and
use both for progressing their life in a spiritual manner. Spirit
attempts to do this through dreams and even nightmares but
few manage to understand them. We spoke recently of the
lack of understanding of the myth of Adam and Eve, and the
STORY of creation. Different cultures have different stories
to highlight the spiritual purpose of earth life and of how that
journey began. The ancient method of recording history was
through storytelling and to this day is still used culturally in
the form of myths and legends. These formats contain a
plethora of historic content held within the symbols that are
employed to illustrate the stories. Besides creation many
myths and legends address the struggles between ‘good’ and
‘evil’. So you can hopefully now see the importance of
symbology. There have been many ‘new’ interpretations
given to symbols but these very often are derived from within
the understanding of those who lack a spiritual background
and a sense of the spiritual significance of the symbol and
therefore will at best provide a meaning that relates to the
current human created world rather than the world that was
originally created by God. Within this latter method of
symbol interpretation, which belongs to a ‘lower’
consciousness, there can be interference from ‘lower’ souls
and for that reason misguidance can accrue. However the one
who uses spiritual significance of any symbol, even those
created by the uninformed, can derive very positive guidance
from them. Such is the purity of spirituality, and the
wonderful workings of God and those who work for the
benefit of humankind. Every event in your earth life is
