the mechanic possesses? The mechanic is only classified as
such because they have this wisdom, and the longer they have
been doing mechanical work, and putting their initial training
into the work, the wiser a mechanic they will be. Now let us
apply this analogy to Spirit and living in this body. A human,
being spiritual is classified as such because they are living in
spiritual awareness, and the longer they live in this awareness,
putting into their life their initial spiritual “training”, the more
spiritually wiser they become. We have said earlier that in
present day society we neglect this initial spiritual training
and replace it with religious training, in so doing the human
has little or no basis on which to grow spiritually wise.
In essence the newly born is far more complex when observed
from a spiritual perspective. This wonderful being is the
epitome of creation. Though an animal form, it possesses the
qualities of God, exactly as all of God’s creation possesses the
essence of the Divine Creator. But there is a difference in the
human creation and that is that is posses an ego. Nothing else
in God’s creation has this feature. Having an ego enables the
incarnate Spirit the opportunity of multidimensional learning.
It permits an internal debate around every experience. Human
constantly refer to the confusion caused by being ruled by the
head or the heart, this refers to the debate between the ego and
the Spirit. To live this life with the bias in the debate
favouring one or the other will create the imbalance and thus
confusion. If we are to acknowledge both and recognise the
roles they play in this life, then both can be used to their best
ability. In this way we can learn the lesson and learn it
