continuing growth in human/ego consciousness without the
attendance of spiritual awareness is creating a greater divide
between the child and Spirit. By the end of its third year the
child will only have a consciousness of the physical world
around it. It can be a time for night terrors and night mares as
the souls of the departed make themselves apparent. Of course
there can also be the situation where the souls of ancestors can
also be encountered by this child. Unfortunately if the adult
guardians of the child do not have an understanding of these
events and consequently able to explain to the child what is
happening, the child can become traumatised. At this tender
age the child is very open and constantly seeking, and this
