Innovation simply requires those closest to the problem to spend time together and assume ANYTHING is possible.
Get together with a team of those who know your business best... in a place where you won’t be disturbed... and just let everyone’s imagination run wild. Ask them each the question:
“If you could have ANYTHING to make our business better and improve performance what would it be?”
Don’t let reality get in the way. It doesn’t matter if it is possible. Just name it. It can be anything. There are no limitations.
Limitations just stifle creativity. And so does negativity. If anyone utters the phrase “it can’t be done” tell them they may have to leave. Don’t allow any negativity to enter the room. That is the surest way to stifle creativity.
