That is the starting point; a document just explaining the problem and expressing the solution in terms of the vision arrived at by your team. It is their vision not the analysts that will be implemented. It is their problem that will be solved. They need the assurance that the functionality, as described by them, will be created and implemented.
Publish this documentation widely within your organization, so that every employee can get excited about the great solution that is on its way. (After all, they may be called upon to make some sacrifices during the development and implementation phases.) Seeing the potential benefits up-front could give them added incentive. They may also have some valuable input for improving the functionality. They will be called upon for their input during the phases that follow.
