Code Club
If you would like to increase your programming skills in Scratch, Python and other languages, while programming your own games and other challenges, using your imagination, creativity, problem solving and teamwork skills then come along to Code Club. It is open to Upper School boys and runs on Monday lunchtimes. Come along you could be the next Steve Jobs!
Lower School Cookery
This club is offered to Year 3 and Year 4 boys. Recipes alternate between sweet and savoury each week. We also try and link with major events in the calendar such as, bonfire night, Christmas and Easter. Individual help is provided to learn skills in food preparation and utensil manipulation! This is a very popular activity!
Upper School Cookery
Though it could be seen as a natural progression from the Lower School Cookery Club, this is by no means a prerequisite for joining.
The club covers basic skills to encourage confidence in the kitchen in a safe environment. The aim is to prepare and cook step-by-step recipes that are fun to make and scrumptious to eat. We try to have a balance between sweet and savoury. Boys will learn various skills such as measuring and weighing, chopping and grating, whisking, kneading and many more.
All ingredients and kitchen equipment are provided by the school. However, each boy is asked to bring his own apron and box to take home his finished product. Every boy will be given all the recipes covered at the end of the term.
Countdown Club
