Junior Jazz
This is a fun way of introducing the boys to the fascinating genre of jazz. The boys learn to play together and independently whilst improvising and showcasing their instrument. Talented, fun and invigorating, with a truly magnificient sound.
Orchestra
This is an invitational orchestra for boys who have shown consistent commitment to their instrument through practise, and dedication to the music department by turning up regularly to some of the other instrumental groups in the Junior School. They play a range of classical, popular and jazz music for all the school concerts and some outside events. Places are restricted by the set-up of the conventional orchestral structure. Recently, the Orchestra was a finalist in the National Music Festival, playing at the Symphony Hall in Birmingham.
