                                    All types open and close the flow of fuel from the storage cylinders

             Four Types of CNG    There are four types of CNG cylinders defined primarily by their manufacturing materials.
             Cylinders            They are labeled or identified by number.

                                  Type 1: All-metal (steel or aluminum)
                                       NGV2-1
                                       All-metal cylinder
                                       Made of steel or aluminum


                                  Type 2: Hoop-wrapped steel or aluminum
                                       NGV2-2
                                       Metal liner
                                       Hoop-wrapped with fiber and resin
                                         composite


                                  Type 3: Fully-wrapped steel or aluminum
                                       NGV2-3
                                       Metal liner
                                       Fully-wrapped with fiber and resin composite


                                  Type 4: All-composite (non-metallic)
                                       NGV2-4
                                       Non-metallic liner
                                       Fully-wrapped with fiber and resin composite
