Module 2: High-Pressure CNG Fuel System Components

High-Pressure  Removes liquid or aerosol
Coalescing Filter o Oil or water
 Remove particulates from gas
 CAUTION: The high-pressure coalescing filter is ALWAYS
under high pressure.
 Follow manufacturer’s procedures for maintenance

Pressure Regulator  Both high and low pressure are in one device
 Reduces high pressure to engine operating pressure
 Most use engine coolant to heat
