 Compress gas
 Store compressed gas
 Measure and dispense fuel

Signs and Placards

Emergency Shut  Identified with a red placard
Down Devices  A fail-safe device
(ESDs)  Shuts down the entire CNG fueling station
 Located within 10 feet of the end of any fueling hose
 An additonal ESD 25 to 75 feet from where you’re
fueling area
 Most important safety device at the station
