What can I expect working with you?

At our firm, we think leaving a legacy means
sharing what you’ve earned in a manner that is
consistent with what you’ve learned. What you

can expect is that we will try to do what's best
for your situation from a values perspective. We
really regard ourselves as "defensive
coordinators." When we're representing your

business, we're trying to protect your assets
and trying to mitigate your tax liability. When
we're protecting your wealth, we're really trying
to protect against spending that isn't
consistent with your values, make sure your
wealth does not fundamentally change your

heirs, and protecting your heirs from
themselves and their creditors, including ex-
spouses. We're still being a defensive
coordinator.

Is it too controlling?

It's really a gift that you're giving and you're
just saying, "I'm okay with you getting this gift
as long as it's not violating my core values.
