Indonesia faces significant challenges in the prevention and treatment of HIV, particularly among the younger population. The family medicine approach plays a vital role in the comprehensive management of this disease. This case report highlights the experience of managing a 22-year-old female patient with HIV at Oebobo Primary Health Center, Kupang. The patient has been on fixed-dosecombination (FDC) TLD antiretroviral therapy since April 2024 and has demonstrated good adherence. Non-pharmacological interventions included education on condom use, personal hygiene, menstrual hygiene management, and family support. This study emphasizes the crucial role of primary care physicians and family involvement in optimizing therapeutic outcomes and the quality of life of patients living with HIV.Keywords: HIV, antiretroviral therapy (ART), family medicine, family support, holistic approach
