Drop Box inside the facility. They will be available during regular
business hours. Some places also have 24 Hour Drop Boxes outside (not
recommended). All Drop Boxes are available starting October 11. This
is better than mailing but can still have some issues during processing
such as accidentally getting torn as it goes thru the envelope opener
machine.
3. **Vote in Person**. We feel that this is the best way to vote. On
November 8th you can take your mail-in-ballot to our polling place,
which is The Library at The Retreat from 7 AM to 8 PM. They will
provide you with a new ballot designed just for in-person voting. You
will surrender your mail-in-ballot and the envelope to avoid the potential donuts and tons of coffee. (Our life’s blood). Our mission is to raise
of voting a provisional ballot. Make sure that they mark both
“surrendered". They should provide you with a pen to mark the ballot.
(It might be a good idea to take a BLACK pen just in case.) Once you
complete your “In-Person” ballot you will slide it into a scanner that will have you join us. And have a donut on us!

Club Crafters
Whatever your craft or hobby is, we would like to invite you to join
us. We meet every Tuesday at 10 AM in the library. Dig out those
unfinished projects and come have a cup of coffee with us, and I
guarantee lots of good conversation and laughs. If you would like more

Club Trekkers
We will continue to have hikes on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays and the
following Saturdays. Neighborhood walks will take place on Saturdays
when there is no hike. Hikes for November will offer the chance to get
out and visit other locations within about an hour’s drive. One hike will activity to meet your neighbors and have some fun!

Club Veterans
From our perspective it seems like the 2022 “Open
House” was a success! We hope all and one enjoyed
the afternoon? We would like to thank all those who
volunteered to help with this event and the staff for
doing a great job too.
Only two more Vet meetings before we end our year
October 13th and November 10th. All meetings begin at 10:00 AM
promptly so hope you can please join us.
For those of you who do not know, you do not have to be a Veteran to be
a member. All one needs is the desire to know some good people, likes
funds for various Placer County based veteran’s support programs.
Contrary to what some think, we do not sit around telling war stories, not
even once! Come in, give a listen and see what you think, we’d love to
Cornhole (New Group Forming)
Come join the newest group at The
game in which teams take turns
throwing fabric bean bags at a raised,
angled board with a hole in its far
end. The goal of the game is to score
points by either landing a bag on the
board or putting a bag through the
hole.
Game days are on the first and third
Mondays & Wednesdays of each
month. The Monday group plays at
1:00 pm and Wednesdays play at
5:30 pm. Bring $2 for prizes. Teams
are selected randomly on the day of
play. Weather permitting, we play
outside under the overhang and if the
weather is bad, we play in the fitness
room. Arrive about 5 minutes early so we can draw up the teams and
collect the $2.
Signups are handled through the "Sign-Up Genius" website. It's a great

MONDAYS & WEDNESDAYS @ 10AM CRIBBAGE IS PLAYED
AT THE CLUB UNTIL NOON
Come play CRIBBAGE with us every Monday and/or Wednesday from
10am to noon. We play two and three handed and partners with four.
Cards are drawn to see who plays with whom. If you have not played in
a long time, no problem, we will go slow and reacquaint you to the
game. We have 12 to 20 members and play to have fun and enjoy each
