THE FALL NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH MEETING OF 2022 takes
place on Tuesday, October 11th at 6 PM in the Wellness Room. Our
guest speakers: Agents from the FEDERAL BUREAU OF
INVESTIGATION.

FBI agents will be presenting "Trends in Fraud".
The FBI has encountered an unprecedented spike in online scams costing our email list.

The presentation will highlight the top five most egregious schemes and
it will provide tools to protect against these online predators.

Orchid Group
Instead of having a meeting in October, the Orchid Group is going on a
field trip. We will be visiting Gold Country Orchids and Paph Paradise
out in Lincoln. They are having their open house October 21, 22 & 23rd. and boosted, please do not attend. Please be prepared to share your

growing orchids.

Pinochle
PLAY PINOCHLE EVERY SATURDAY @ 10AM TO NOON
Every Saturday 10 to 15 players are at the Club to play lively games of
PINOCHLE. We play Three handed and Partner single deck Pinochle
10am to noon. If you are rusty and have not played in a while the group

Ping Pong (Table Tennis) Group
The Ping Pong Group is a great way to get in a little exercise and have
fun while doing it. We have two tables and play singles and doubles. All
levels of players are welcome.

We welcome both men and women. We play different games, dealer

Shutterbugs
The Shutterbugs’ next meeting will be in person at our usual time of 2
pm. on Thursday, October 6th. We will be sharing our photos from the
September Autumn Harvest theme. Each member should pick one photo
from this topic and from Mahany Farmer’s Market field trip on
September 25th to convert to B&W. Your other photos can be in color or
B&W. We will also have a brief discussion with some videos on the
topic of the Aspect Ratio. Every resident is welcome to join and share
photos without having to be an official member. We kindly ask out of
consideration for those who are at risk that if you are not fully vaccinated
Our photo shooting theme for the month of October is Halloween. Our
field trip will be on October 15th to the Harvest Festival in
Auburn. Watch your email for more information on this event. These
photos will be shared at our November meeting.

their DSLR-type cameras, we recommend visiting

A reminder for all that we have decided to standardize the way we
present photos at our meetings. Please send any photos you want to Terry
and he will prepare them for showing at our meeting. You will do the
narration. Several members are not as comfortable sharing and therefore
this should make it easier for everyone.
PLEASE SEND TERRY AN EMAIL WITH YOUR PHOTOS AS
“ATTACHMENTS”. Please do not embed your photos in the body of the
email which makes it longer to download your files. If you have a
