As we give thanks this month for the gift of family, friends and so much more. I am also grateful for the gift of reading
and want to extend an extra thank you to our volunteer staff for managing our community library. What a beautiful space
filled with a collection of donated books. Hours of work go into maintaining this space – thank you. Welcome to new
home owners and welcome to folks who may be learning of the Retreat Library for the first time. Stop by to browse, se-
lect, read, enjoy and return a book of your choice. This service is free and we would love to see you make this a frequent
stopping place.

Roseville Public Library is hosting:
 Local Author Talk Series will feature Frederick Wysocki author of Happy Hour Murders at the Fig Tree on November, 16th from 2:00-
4:00pm. Hear about his writing process and how he comes up with his ideas.
 Wreath With Us – Sign up to decorate the public library walls with a wreath based on a favorite book or literary theme. Details are on the
library website or stop in and inquire.
 Feltastic Fun– Experience beginning needle felting on November 15th from 5:30-7:30pm.

What’s on my nightstand? The Bomber Mafia by Malcom Gladwell. Most military thinkers in the years leading up to WW II saw the airplane as
an afterthought. Some had a different view.
