On January 1st we try and start the New Year off right with a hike out
to Averys Pond along the North Fork of the American River. The hik-
ers from left to right are Mark Moore, Linda Rossier, Rosie Lehto, and
Richard Capp. While the sign says beware of Mountain Lions the
only ones that appear in photos are courtesy of Photoshop.
The trail we wanted to take had been closed, so we were able to take
an alternate route to the North Fork Dam that forms Lake Clementine
in the Auburn State Recreational Area. The hikers from left to right
are Charlie Huffine, Rick Archila, Mark Moore and Linda Rossier.
