he said, “ Business should be done in the legal way. You
should have a bill book and should also pay taxes.” We
were walking on the marine line over bridge during this
conversation. He said, “we are walking on the bridge
constructed by the government. And so, we pay taxes to
the government." And government runs on the taxes they
receive. Other’s conduct is of the least importance, what
you are doing is important and should not be overlooked.
I always followed his words in the business.
Shri. C. P. Philipos was like my parent. He always
wished for my own bungalow, car and economic progress.
His dreams came true. We had an intimate relationship. It
was more than a blood relation.
My business was expanded. I bought an old Padmini

fiat car MH 09 243. I kept progressing. Life became an
exciting journey.
We used to travel with Sheetal my nephew during
this period. We had visited Agra, Delhi, Haridwar,
Hrishikesh, Mathura, Vrindavan, Kerala, Tamilnadu
(Kanyakumari, Rameshwar, Ooty) Maisur (Karnataka),
Goa etc. we travelled through all over India.
