To apply for EID:
1. Go online to SBA.gov and fill out the
application. This form will ask you a series

of questions pertaining to your business, and
you, the business owner.
2. Fill it out and FOLLOW UP

If you’re curious about qualifications, you are

deemed eligible if you are any of the following:
1. Any business concern, nonprofit organization,
veteran’s organization, or Tribal business
concern that employs no more than 500
employees (or the size standard in number of
employees established by the Administration
for the industry in which such business

operates)
2. Sole Proprietors
3. Independent Contractors
4. Self-Employed Individuals

If you are on the fence about if you would qualify
or not, go ahead and apply. The worst thing that could
happen is that you would get denied. The same goes
for any business owners that have been lucky enough

to be deemed “essential.” This coronavirus pandemic
may not seem to have a huge effect on you or your
business at the moment, but it is still a very good idea
