likes and dislikes. Many things we engage in that please us,

like certain TV shows, going to the movies, going on vacation,
shopping, and hanging out with friends, etc., and God wants
us to enjoy our days while we're here. Still, we must consider
Him during our days and ensure that we surrender our days
to Him as we live them. This ensures His safety and His
direction. He may want us to detour into something that He
desires to use us in, so remaining open to the prompting's of

the Holy Spirit allows us to be a continual willing vessel while
operating as His hands and feet in the earth. Once we remain
mindful of His Presence in our lives, we will be used mightily
for His glory.

Once we have accepted Jesus into our hearts and live for Him,

all of life's goals, desires, pleasures, needs, etc., should be
submitted to our Creator. This power transfer isn't easy, but it is
possible through our relationship with Jesus Christ. Through
renewal and revival in His Word, the path of praise will rejuve-
nate our spirit by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Humanity has free will and a level of pride that makes it difficult
to relinquish our entire life to our Saviour since many of us have
become used to being our vindicator and resource for the
enjoyed things in life, so that's where the real work resides. But
I am so thankful for the help of the Holy Spirit to instruct and
comfort His children.

Christ is our Compass and Guide. He's even our Refuge and

Fortress. The One we can trust when we rest in His Shadow
(Psalm 91:1-2 NIV) and depend on Him for every facet of our
life. The twists, turns, and decisions we must make can send us
down the wrong path. Still, through a continual relationship
with the Father, He is faithful, cleanses us from all unrighteous-
ness, and gets us back on the correct path. It is easy to veer off
the wide, inviting road. But let us continue to run this race with
endurance, continuing down the narrow road as we receive
God's grace and mercy. God is faithful to ensure our victory
through every road we travel.
