look at that statement. I can't speak for anyone else but I feel refreshed after a shower. There is nothing like fresh sheets on the bed, and
we want our food to be fresh when we eat. What makes our spiritual lives any different? Our strength can be renewed if we wait according
to the Prophet Isaiah. I know, I know, wait is a bad word for some of us because we want everything now, now, now! Fortunately for us, that
is not how life works. If God gave us everything we wanted when we wanted it, we would be a mess! Think about something you wanted
immediately, and you were mad that you didn't get it. Then, down the line, you discovered that getting that thing would have been the worst
thing that could have happened; you looked up to the Lord and said, "Thank You."

Sometimes, we must return to what we know and the fundamentals of our childhood teachings to refresh our minds. We can use a reminder
from time to time that our self-righteousness is not our salvation. We must return to the Word and realize our hope is in Christ, our only
Savior. We make accepting Christ so complicated that the world thinks it cannot be done, even though it is very simple! We have to believe
in Him and His sacrifice for us. We need Jesus Christ for everything. The book of Acts says it all when it states that we live, move, and have
our being in Christ. Our very being, who we are, is in Christ. We cannot even "be" without Him, which follows that only He can revive and
renew us. We must ask Him to do so because He will not impose Himself on us.

We need Jesus daily to revive, renew, refresh, rebuild, redirect, refill, realign, refuel, all the "re" words we can think of. We should understand
that we are not here because of our power. Left to my own devices, I would have destroyed myself long ago. Most people would not admit
this, but I do not always make the smartest choices. The grace extended to me by the blood of Jesus gives me the energy to move forward
     and do better.

In this season, let us set our minds on what needs to be reset in our lives. Let us return to the consciousness of God's purpose for our lives.
Refresh yourself in the blood of the lamb, and find fresh purpose as we flow along the stream of this life. Remember that Jesus can do all
the "re" words we cannot do ourselves. Find a song to sing in the hard moments, the ones where you think you won't be able to make it.
Return to the roots of your faith. The last verse of that hymn brings it all together. "Revive us again, fill each heart with Thy love; may each
soul be rekindled with the fire from above. Hallelujah! Thine the Glory. Hallelujah! Amen. Hallelujah! Thine the glory. Revive us again.
