Besides the pirates trying to get in, there was

silence. Bernard thought back on when Joey had said,

“Then I’ll stab him in the back and steal the ship.” He

did not know if this was a metaphor or not, but he didn’t

want to know.

“Now go with the plan and do what I tell ya’ if

you value your life,” Joey said in a hushed voice.

“DON’T WORRY MATES! I GOT EM’ UNDER

CONTROL!”

“Ah thank ya’ Joey,” said a stern voice.

“No problem Cap’m,” Joey replied. Joey pushed

them out of the door. They walked less than 20 feet out

of the cabin they were in, but it felt like a mile. They

stood up into a horizontal line and were observed by the

crew before a dwarven man who must have been the

captain walked up out of the crowd.
