The bullet flew past Bernard and narrowly
missed the top of his ear while bullets flew towards the
pirates too. He dove behind into a room with no regard
for what the room was or what was inside of it.
“TAKE COVER!” Captain Thomas roared as
some of the pirates and Al’s crew alike were hit by
flying bullets, some falling overboard. They all piled into
a room on the boat and slammed the door shut. Al, who
was quite small and extremely weak, leaned onto the
door, to try and hold the pirates off which did absolutely
nothing. Captain Johnson on the other hand, who was
muscular and lean, which had a little more effect, pushed
on the door. The Pirates banged on the door but were not
intelligent enough to take a shot from their flintlocks
