In 2015, George Heriot’s School launched the Foundation400 campaign. The aim of Foundation400 is to raise £15million in time for
the school’s 400th anniversary.
While the school is one of Scotland's oldest educational charities, it does not enjoy the security of an endowment. The ‘pot of gold’
many mistakenly assume funds the Foundation simply does not exist.
This Report reflects the first 5 years of the campaign and highlights achievement to date. We are delighted by the progress made
already and would like to thank everyone who has donated to the appeal to help secure the Foundation.
Your generosity, and the support of the Heriot’s community, is crucial to protect George’s vision and is instrumental in helping
bereaved children from in and around Edinburgh to make the most of their futures. Together, we can build a lasting legacy for the
benefit of all Foundationers.
