Costs of the Foundation
The costs of the Foundation fluctuate annually, primarily based on the number of current pupils enrolled under the Foundation.
Variance also occurs based on the individual requirements of Foundationers, such as trips, music lessons and travel costs. These make
up the ‘allowances’ below.
The annual cost for academic year 19/20 was £820,246. This comprised £777,486 in school fees and £42,760 in allowances.
The annual cost for one Foundation place, inclusive of fees and expected allowances, is:
£13,500 Junior School (P6/P7)
£16,500 Senior School (S1-S6)
The lifetime cost for one place, inclusive of fees and expected allowances from P6 to S6, is £126,000.
