meet Heriot
Where better to start their education at
Heriot’s than learn about George Heriot
himself. P1 pupils were introduced to
the philanthropic goldsmith in visits to
the Council Room and the Quadrangle
to look up at his statue. Pupils also
drew the school that Heriot founded, as
pictured here.
P7 sense outdoor
inspiration
P7 pupils also took advantage of the
September weather as lessons were
relocated outside in order to write
poems inspired by the senses. A
