I’d like to wish a very Happy New Year to each and every Bocaire Member and Sponsored Guest. It’s hard to
believe that I’ve already been your Director of Golf for a full year, but as they say, the days may be long but
the years fly by!

We are moving into a very exciting part of the season in the Golf Department. The month of January
brings the Men’s Club Championship, Men’s Two-Man Challenge, Men’s One Day Member-Guest, Women’s
Lion and the Lamb and the Women’s Bocaire Cup. January and February are also when all of the major
club manufacturers release their newest products. We have Fitting Days scheduled with Callaway, Cobra,
TaylorMade, Ping, and XXIO. I have gotten a sneak peek at most of the new releases at this point and
needless to say there have been some major advancements made.

On January 18 , we will be hosting a Golf Club Trade-In Day. The company Stick X will be setup on the
Driving Range and will be able to instantly quote a trade-in value for your used clubs. If you have extra
clubs in your garage that you would like to clear out, bring them by and you will receive credit to spend in
the Golf Shop. You can use Golf Shop Credit towards the purchase of new equipment, apparel or shoes in
the Golf Shop.
