Dear Bocairians,

On behalf of the entire staff, we wish you all a Happy and Healthy New Year as we welcome in the “Roaring
Twenties”!!

Where did 2019 go? It has been a busy year at the Club with great attendance for our dining events and
more attendance records broken.

Upcoming events that you will not want to miss include a Comedy Night with Peter Fogel on Friday, January
17th; our 26th Annual Ladies Luncheon and Card Party on Thursday, January 23rd; Myron Sugerman,
speaking at Bocaire on Thursday, January 30th (not on the calendar); Valentine’s Day Dinner Dance with
Helena Redman Duo on Friday, February 14th; 50’s Sock Hop with Street Talk Band on Saturday, February
22nd; and a Dinner Show on Saturday, March 21st featuring Shades of Bublé.

We communicate upcoming events at the Club to you in many ways including featuring them in the calendar
and in the Happenings booklet mailed at the beginning of the season, What’s On… emails, flyers, posters in
the lobby, community channel, Facebook and the Bocaire’s website. On more than one occasion, I have
been asked why we didn’t advertise a particular event and I have explained that flyers were sent out as part
of numerous mailings, that it was included for many weeks in What’s On… and it was on the website!
Please read what the Club sends out advertising our events as we really do try to let you know what is going
on.

Bocaire is a great community to live in and I encourage you all to participate and enjoy everything that
Bocaire has to offer.

I hope to see you at the Club and remember my door is always open…
