Some verbs describe a condition or situation. We do not usually use these verbs in the present
continuous.

I see some people outside the building.
She is listening to some soft music.
She hears a bird singing
He wants his pen back right now.
I have a new car.
She needs some more paper.
They understand the question and they know the answer.
