W&RSETA turns
22 in 2022!

and Retail Sector.
It is also the month during which we celebrate the establishment of SETAs.
The W&RSETA marked 22 years since its founding as a skills development
authority in the Wholesale and Retail Sector on 20 March 2000. We
remain committed to the skills development agenda of South Africa and
appreciate the role that our stakeholder companies and other partners
continue to play in bridging the skills gap.
We look forward to another year of making meaningful impact in the fight
against unemployment in South Africa through skills development.
We ended the financial year on a high note with the graduation of the
2019 to 2022 groups from our partnership programme with The Clothing
Bank. Over 800 women entrepreneurs who completed the Informal Small
Business Practice Learnership and additional support programmes from
